Before the service
What belongs on a volunteer schedule?
The gathering, date, service time, each role, the person assigned and when they should arrive. Add a room or campus if your church meets in more than one place. Leave an unfilled name blank so the opening stays visible.
Does this notify volunteers?
No. Copy or export the roster and share it through your usual team channel. Confirm each assignment with the person before treating it as covered.
Can I use it for something other than Sunday worship?
Yes. Change the gathering, date, time and roles for a weekday service, community meal, youth event or another church gathering.
Are the arrival times in my church's time zone?
They are local times, with no time-zone conversion. Use the gathering's local date and service time. An arrival before midnight is marked as the previous day.
